"We contacted Coastal Windows & Exteriors after experiencing every homeowner's nightmare. It had been raining consistently in the past two weeks and finally, last Thursday, our living room ceiling collapsed under the weight of saturated insulation. There must be a leak, and we were scared at how long water was collecting and the possible damage. As it is a family home, I cannot fully express the anxiety we all were feeling.A trusted friend and had told me about her wonderful experience with Coastal working on her home, so I immediately asked her for information and called them that day.Ewan came to our home the very next day, also a rainy one, and performed an inspection. He was initially outside, taking pictures and notes before coming into the home to see the exposed ceiling and attic. Owning a very old home with asbestos siding, we knew this was going to be big project for us.And we were a bit overwhelmed with the terminology and how massive a project it would be to repair and protect our house after hearing the news. We knew we had wanted to redo the siding to protect our cherished victorian home, but we had just installed a new roof from another company 7 years ago, and thought we had some time to save for the next siding project.But Ewan was a calm presence as he would stop and explain terms and essentially gave us a primer on roofs and siding we never thought we needed! He was a true educator, explaining the components and materials that Coastal uses in their process. And having our questions answered as we talked was tremendous in helping us understand what we needed to do next in addressing this roof/siding failure.In the next couple of days, fearing additional rain, Ewan quickly responded to our concerns and got us a temporary tarp/covering to protect the home from continued rainfall. He really helped us feel like we were in the right hands while dealing with this emergency.Coastal has already ordered our materials for work on our roof this week, and Ewan was just back at our home to finalize the additional siding and replacement windows. Again, learning more about how siding worked and feeling better about what we were buying. Ewan understood that this was a huge financial investment for us and talked us through the whole way. The level of customer care so far has been amazing and we feel so much more at ease to be working with Coastal."

"It was time to be proactive on an aging roof and skylights. Coastal offers a GAF Golden Pledge Presidents club warranty to ensure that we are protecting our home. Communication from the beginning to the punctuality and hard work from the crew was top notch. The architectural shingles with black trim, seamless black gutters and leaf guards look incredible. Solar vented skylights from Velux, remote operated with power blinds allowed us to toss the operating pole for the old crank version in the dumpster. Everything was tarped, cleaned and a Magnet nail sweep at completion. Follow up for customer satisfaction solidified the communication from start to finish. Thank you Coastal!"
